VCR is building a public platform that makes status, sponsorship, data use, accessibility, and commercial boundaries visible.
VCR Passport uses your authenticated identity to create a member record. We store the email attached to that identity, your chosen handle, avatar style, home signal, membership status, and Vibe Points so your access can persist across VCR rooms. We do not sell this information.
You can update your public handle, avatar style, and home signal from your Passport. Account deletion and data export will be available before public membership opens. Email links elsewhere on the site open your email client.
VCR is preparing privacy-respecting measurement for visits, sources, content, outbound clicks, and inquiries. No analytics system should collect more information than the platform needs to improve experience and conversion.
Paid placements will be labeled “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” or “Partner.” They will not be styled as navigation, download controls, or editorial recommendations. Advertising will follow substantial original content, not replace it.
The platform targets WCAG 2.2 AA through semantic structure, keyboard access, visible focus, strong contrast, reduced motion, reflow, descriptive links, text alternatives, and planned captions or transcripts for meaningful media.
“Active,” “available,” “pilot,” “in build,” “research,” and “live” have different meanings. VCR uses them deliberately so future capability can be visible without being presented as completed fact.
